a
very good game played in torrential rain diamonds took the lead early
on but once Jags started playing they took the game to Nettherton
creating many chances and but for some excellent keeping would have
been on level terms before Asacia latched onto a through ball to draw
us level, the second half saw the rain getting worse and jags stride
into a 3-1 lead thanks to Maisie a an excellent strike from the edge
of the box from Claire with jags commanding the game they nearly let
Diamonds back in with converted penalty but with minutes to go and
the sun trying to come out the final whistle blew and the three
points went to the young Jags.
Jags 6 v Brackley Sports 4 11/09/2011
A very windy Cogenhoe turned this game into a very hard day at the
office for both sides,
Cogenhoe
played with the wind behind there backs and soon saw them go one
down from a rare sortie from Brackley, jags soon got the upper hand
and by half time had taken a commanding 5-1 lead the second half saw
force gale winds coming straight at us but a great break away saw us
take a six one lead towards the end Brackley scored three to make it
6-4 to the young Jags in this well reefed game played by two good
sides . Well played both sides.
Jags 0 v Kettering Town Amazons 10

Where
did all the Amozons go? Jags were given a display in slick passing
and good finishing in this one sided game playing against a Kettering
team that has dropped out of higher league football. the young Jags
mananged a few shots but not a lot to write home about. five goals
either half put paid to this bad day at the office, this is a game we
have to put behind us and pick ourselves up for the next game. on
this display Kettering will be very hard to beat.
Jags 8 v Moulton 6 25/09/2011
14 goals jags took an early two nill lead and looked to be running away with the
game but moulton had other ideas and replied three times taking the lead, jags
got back on equal terms before the break, second half was more of the same with
goals coming thick and fast and some fantastic saves from both keepers, jags
maintained the lead throughout the second half in this thriller but what a great
advert for ladies football april malin with 5 goals was jags mom
Jags 3 v Thorplands 5 02/10/2011
Red October a very hot day, An out of sorts kingsthorpe could do nothing to stop the red shirted thorplands from taking a three goal lead at half time, second half saw some excellent work getting us all level only to allow thorplands to score from the retake and with jags pushing for a draw thorplands took the game out of reach with a late goal, thanks to the refferee for allowing the drinks breaks in this well contested match well played both teams
Jags 2 v Rothwell 3 09/10/2011
the lead in the first half when Naomi scrambled the ball over the line the score
stayed the same untill the second half when Rothwell scored two goals in two
minutes, the young Jags pushed on and April got a fantastic equalizer with four
minutes remaining and it looked like a draw was on the cards only with moments
of the game left a Rothwell striker hit a ball from the edge of the area which
the keeper could not hold and Rothwell snatched the game,a good advert for
ladies football
