THE
CLUB AND COACHES

The Club/Coaches will

Provide
a safe and friendly environment in which the players can
train.

Provide
fully qualified Managers/Coaches, who also hold current Emergency Aid
certificates, for all training sessions.

Ensure
all Managers/Coaches are voluntarily Police Checked for the purposes of Child
Protection.

Set a
good example for the players at all times on and off the
Pitch.

Be
supportive of any player with difficult circumstances e.g. by offering
free/reduced training for player of single parents etc.

Provide
league players with the necessary football strip for matches and
tournaments.

Encourage participation in the game for all players at all levels whether it is playing in a league, friendly matches or training.

Arrange
social events outside of Football in which we will encourage all members to
participate.

Inform
players and parents of times and venues for training and matches with as much
notice as possible.

Listen
to any player or parent who has a worry concerning the club and act accordingly
to resolve the matter.

Encourage any player who
wish to develop their football away from the club e.g. Centres of Excellence,
professional clubs etc.

Adopt
the F.A. Child Welfare Policy.

Any
event where the girls are representing Kingsthorpe Ladies and Girls F.C in
whatever form, the club secretary needs to be informed prior to the event taking
place.

 

THE
PLAYER

The
player should

Be on time for training
and matches.

Be well behaved both on
and off the pitch.

Always wear Club issued
football strip (shirt, shorts, socks & rain jackets) for
all

Ensure
subs are paid on time.

Encourage Fair
Play.

Bring
any problem regarding any aspect of the club to the attention of the Club
Secretary or team Manager.

Keep
the club informed of any changes in personal
circumstances.

Behave
appropriately and set a good example.

Enjoy
the game whatever the result.

Encourage their child’s
team and recognise and acknowledge good play by their
opponents.

Always
wear Club issued football strip (shirt, socks and rainjackets) for all matches.
(You are representing the Club and promoting our sponsor. Without justifiable
mitigating circumstances, refusal to wear Club issued kit will result in the
player not being selected for matches)

Be well presented e.g.
shin pads, suitable boots etc.

Demonstrate a positive
attitude and respect the coaches, other players, officials and
opponents.

Be responsible for their
own actions.

Be enthusiastic and work
hard as an individual and as a team.

Be co-operative, honest
and recognise and understand their own and others
shortcomings.

Be willing to accept
responsibility e.g. nets, corner flags.

Conduct themselves at all
times in a way that reflects well on their club and
football.

Demonstrate Fair
Play

 

 

The
player should not

Discriminate.

Use
inappropriate language e.g. racist, sexist, abusive.

Argue
with teammates, opponents, officials and coaches.

Discourage others or be
aggressive.

 

 

PARENTS AND
SPECTATORS

Parents and spectators
should

Be
supportive.

Accept
advice from Managers/coaches.

Ensure

Discriminate.

inappropriate language e.g. racist, sexist, and abusive.

Pressurise
the players.

Parents
and Spectators must not take it upon themselves to correspond with any league
representative, match official, or any opposition member, in any shape or form
without going through the proper channels, i.e. manager or club secretary,
depending on the circumstances.
